With over eighteen years of retail experience, Mr. Kavindra Mishra has been instrumental in aligning Pepe Jeans India with the global brand strategy. Since Mr. Mishra’s appointment in 2013, Pepe Jeans has become one of the most profitable and fastest growing brands in country.

Mr. Kavindra Mishra has been instrumental in increasing the brand’s presence in the country through a robust omni-channel strategy. He is responsible for the growth of the existing business portfolio at Pepe Jeans. Under Mr. Mishra’s leadership Pepe Jeans kids wear was launched in India for the first time; within eighteen months the category became one of the most profitable brand extensions to date. As of 2017, Mr. Mishra will also be responsible for overseeing and driving growth for the Indonesia market.

Mr. Mishra acquired his Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in 1999. He started his retail career in 1999 as Area Sales Manager at Madura Coats and continued his career at Madura Garments as Brand Manager for Allen Solly. During his 5 year stint with Allen Solly, Mr. Mishra has played a significant role in the execution of the brands most celebrated campaign – “Solly at Work”; which was responsible for further establishing the brand in the Indian market. In 2006, as the Vice President of Tommy Hilfiger, he was responsible for the brand’s rapid growth and expansion in the form an increasing number of exclusive brand outlets and department stores in the country. In 2009, Mr. Kavindra Mishra joined United Colors of Benetton (UCB) as their Commercial Director. Equipped with industry insight and an enormous amount of retail experience, in 2011 Mr. Mishra became part of the founding team of India’s first online apparel and lifestyle portal – Zovi.com.

Over the years Mr. Kavindra Mishra has acquired a strong experience in business building across a multitude of leadership roles as Vice President, Commercial Director, strategist and entrepreneur. He complements his knowledge with insights from his previous leadership positions and is able to bring to Pepe Jeans a thoroughly unique and effective style of working.

Mr. Mishra is an avid Marathon runner, having participated in most marathons in the country as well as a few internationally. He loves reading and spending time with his family. His favourite book is ‘Difficulty of being good’ by Gurucharan Das – exploring events in Mahabharata while trying to draw parallels from contemporary world. Mr. Mishra is an extremely optimistic individual with a deep sense of spirituality.
