Neralla is the CEO of atom technologies, one of India’s leading payments service providers focused on creating an end-to-end payments ecosystem over Internet, IVR, mobile and point-of-sale.
He is also the co-founder of financial Technologies which created more than a dozen exchanges in India and across the globe like MCX India, Singapore Mercantile Exchange, Dubai Gold and Commodity Exchange etc.
Dewang is also referred as the tech whiz kid by leading newspapers in the country who built the flagship transaction software ODI which not only gave the Indian baking broking software’s a run of their money but also gave tough fight to International giants like Bloomberg and Reuters. Because of his immense subject matter expertise Dewang is known as the veteran in the FinTech ecosystem
After being in the FinTech vertical for more than 2 decades and having tried his hands in building successful exchanges, he ventured in developing the payment landscape in the country. Being a futurist he believed that Payments would be the next big this and was already thinking ahead of that time.
This lead to the forming of Atom Technologies in the year 2005 which is an acronym for Any Transaction on Mobile. Back then payments landscape was under developed in the country and mobile payments sounded alien then. Being a visionary Dewang realized the potential it had and started working toward his belief.
Today, atom has emerged one of the largest payment processing companies in India with processing over 5 million transactions per month and having processed more than USD 6 billion dollars (annualized) worth transactions.
He is constantly focused on innovation through creation of distinctive payment solutions and services that are modern, secure and consumer centric along with atom’s technology team. His passion for excellence has led to atom being certified for ISO 9001:2008 for its operations and technology. He is passionate about electronic payments and its power to bring about huge social transformation in a growth economy like India and reduce the overall costs associated. He is actively involved in the payments industry being a co-chair of the Merchant Aggregators Committee in Payment Council of India (PCI) as well as a member of Executive Council of PCI.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science and has been a featured speaker at several national and international academic, business, and technology forums as well as at industry events.
