COO, HotWax Systems
Anil began his technical career architecting and building custom solutions for companies like Quest Telecom, Volvo Commercial Finance, US Bank, and Gilbarco Veeder-Root. In addition to building custom applications, Anil also implemented numerous proprietary systems including IBM Websphere Commerce and IBM Maximo Asset Management.
Dissatisfied with both “build” and “buy” as zero sum options, Anil became an expert in open source technology. Most recently, Anil has designed and implemented solutions based on open source technology for United Airlines, Herman Miller, CTB McGraw-Hill, the IEEE computer society, and many others, including cabi — the largest direct sale clothing retail company in the United States.
Anil is currently a committer and a member of the OFBiz Project Management Committee as well as a member at the Apache Software Foundation.
Anil’s current focus is the architecture, design, and product development of HotWax Commerce, an omni-channel enterprise commerce platform built to power the future of unified commerce. The platform drives innovation across the complete value chain, from procurement and supply-chain improvements, through advanced sales enablement, to deeper customer insights and 360-degree customer support. HotWax Commerce gives enterprises complete control over their digital commerce operations.
Anil’s product development was visionary, has won recognition and awards from Gartner and other industry research groups, and is now being actively embraced by companies spanning a variety of industries, including fashion, energy, eyewear, automotive, grocery, and pharmaceuticals. HotWax Commerce continues to help visionaries make digital transformation a reality in their organizations
